	Paul started his apprenticeship with ETCO in 2008 and has been working with MacEll Maintenance for the duration of his apprenticeship. His work base is mainly commercial/industrial maintenance, renovations, new commercial/industrial installations, BMS systems, Cardax and domestic/commercial security systems. Paul entered the competition to test himself against his peers and to hopefully learn something along the way.

Kent Hendy (21)

	Kent started his apprenticeship in January 2008 through ETCO and completed the first two years in a small residential company , Kelectric, based in Onehunga, working mainly on renovations and alterations to old villas. He has spent the last year working with O-I New Zealand (formerly ACI Glass) at the glass works in Penrose, Auckland in the role of electrical maintenance. He has also had exposure to a wide range of industrial work from maintenance to installation, working with both modern and older equipment. All going well Kent will have completed his apprenticeship in August.

Kieran Pearce (21)
Employer: Bremca Southland Off-Job Trainer: ETCO
	Kieran is based in Invercargill and started his apprenticeship in 2007 with Bremca Southland, mostly building industrial switchboards and whilst doing his electrical apprenticeship, has also completed a switchgear fitting qualification. Kieran antered the ECANZ Challenge to extend his knowledge and to challenge his skills under different conditions. He also hoped to gain invaluable experience by participating in the finals along with meeting other people from within the industry. Kieran enjoys playing hockey and rugby as well as socialising in his spare time..
